Another guideline to control weight when you stop smoking is to stay hydrated. It is ideal for us to drink around 6-8 glasses of water, and this will help you feel full and evade your cravings to eat.

Another pointer that will distract your craving to smoke is to chew gum and make this your new habit for the moment instead of getting that cigarette. You may be one of those who are experiencing nicotine withdrawal symptoms, and so to satisfy yourself, you can take instead a nicotine gum.

Diet is just one way of controlling your weight as you go through the process of eliminating your smoking habit, but this is not enough, meaning, you have to couple it with exercise.
